Harry the Humpback Whale – Original Watercolour Painting

$250.00 inc. VAT

Meet Harry the Humpback Whale. He’s one of 45,000 humpbacks that make the epic annual migration up and down the Western Australian coastline. He’s also an expert crooner, known for his distinct and complex songs that are bellowed to entice potential females to mate during their northwards migration journey.

He’s not just a bass-baritone slapping down single lines, but uses syllables, rhymes and sophisticated clicks, moans and eerie high-pitched wails. These often deep rumbling tunes can carry for hundreds of kilometres underwater.

Original, hand painted watercolour and ink illustration, measuring 210 mm x 297 mm (A4 size).

Note: there are open edition eco reproduction prints of this original artwork available.
